Fundamentals (Content Competence):

At the end of the
semester, you will know the three categories of Quantitative Human Resource
Management: HR Controlling, Human Capital Measurement, and People Analytics;
•       
You will have an overview
of important concepts, tools, and practices in this field (thus understanding
the breadth of the subject area), and
•       
You will know some key
details from each category (your knowledge will go into depth in the subject
matter).
•       
Your focus will
particularly be on reflecting on and assessing the practical applicability of
these concepts in real-world scenarios.
Application (Action Competence):
•       
On this basis, you will
be able to critically evaluate the success factors, specific application
possibilities, expected benefits, and potential difficulties of the specific
concepts, tools, and practices.
•       
You will be able to
design and develop concrete application cases, taking into account the specific
requirements and conditions of the company, particularly from the perspective
of strategic effectiveness.
•       
Specifically, this could
mean that by the end of the semester, you will be able to calculate the human
capital of a company and interpret the results in a business context; design
and implement an HR risk system, or even compile an HR report yourself.
•       
Practical-oriented issues
will be addressed in individual and group work.
