In diesem Modul erhalten Studierende eine fundierte Einführung in die Welt der Informationssysteme und deren Anwendung in der Praxis. Ziel ist es, die notwendigen Fähigkeiten und Kenntnisse zu vermitteln, um moderne Technologien effektiv in betrieblichen Kontexten einzusetzen.

Was Studierende erwartet:

Digital Transformation: Studierende lernen Strategien und Ansätze kennen, mit denen Unternehmen die digitale Transformation erfolgreich gestalten.
Business Architectures und Prozessmodellierung: Studierende werden in die Grundlagen von Geschäftsarchitekturen eingeführt und erlernen, wie betriebliche Prozesse modelliert und durch IT unterstützt werden, insbesondere in finanziellen Prozessen.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Studierende entdecken, wie sich Geschäftsprozesse durch RPA automatisieren lassen, und wenden ihr Wissen in Workshops an, die sowohl einfache als auch komplexe Automatisierungen behandeln.
Internet of Things (IoT): Studierende beschäftigen sich mit den Grundkonzepten, der Infrastruktur und Investitionsstrategien des IoT. In praktischen Workshops entwickeln und demonstrieren sie eigene IoT-Lösungen.
Integration von IT und OT (Operational Technology): Studierende erfahren, wie Informationstechnologie und Betriebstechnologie zusammengeführt werden, um Geschäftsprozesse umfassender zu gestalten.
Request for Proposals (RFP): Studierende erlernen Methoden zur Entwicklung von Ausschreibungen für IT-Projekte und wenden diese direkt in praxisnahen Szenarien an.
Digital Leadership: Studierende entwickeln Kompetenzen, um in digitalen Kontexten erfolgreich zu führen.

Das Modul kombiniert theoretische Inhalte mit praxisorientierten Übungen wie Case Studies, Workshops und Online-Assessments. Studierende haben die Möglichkeit, ihr Wissen direkt anzuwenden und durch interaktive Formate eigenständig Lösungen zu entwickeln.

Ziele des Moduls:
Nach Abschluss des Moduls sind Studierende in der Lage, Informationssysteme gezielt in der betrieblichen Praxis einzusetzen, eigenständig Herausforderungen zu analysieren und innovative Lösungen zu entwickeln.

Modularer Aufbau:
Das Modul ist so konzipiert, dass über zwei Semester verschiedene Themen behandelt werden können. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass sich die Inhalte der Module Informationssysteme I und Informationssysteme II ergänzen und nicht überschneiden.

This module provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the world of information systems and their application in practice. The goal is to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize modern technologies in business contexts.

What students can expect:

Digital Transformation: Students will learn strategies and approaches for successfully managing digital transformation in organizations.
Business Architectures and Process Modeling: Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of business architectures and learn how to model business processes and support them with IT, particularly in financial processes.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Students will explore how business processes can be automated using RPA and will apply their knowledge in workshops focusing on both simple and complex automation tasks.
Internet of Things (IoT): Students will engage with the fundamental concepts, infrastructure, and investment strategies of IoT. In practical workshops, they will develop and demonstrate their own IoT solutions.
Integration of IT and OT (Operational Technology): Students will learn how to merge information technology and operational technology to create more comprehensive business processes.
Request for Proposals (RFP): Students will acquire methods for developing proposals for IT projects and apply them in practical, real-world scenarios.
Digital Leadership: Students will develop skills to lead effectively in digital contexts.

The module combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises such as case studies, workshops, and online assessments. Students will have the opportunity to directly apply their knowledge and develop solutions independently through interactive formats.

Module Objectives:
Upon completion of the module, students will be able to effectively utilize information systems in business practices, independently analyze challenges, and develop innovative solutions.

Modular Structure:
The module is designed to cover different topics across two semesters. This ensures that the content of Information Systems I and Information Systems II complements each other without overlapping.
