Learning Objectives / Competencies:
After completing this module, students will be able to model, train, and apply neural networks to practical problems, as well as interpret the results. These problems will be solved using appropriate software. Furthermore, students will develop the ability to work in groups to explore the mathematical methods underlying neural networks and to present their findings to an audience. By taking this module, students gain insight into the structure of various use cases and come to understand that mathematical modeling can be very helpful in solving these problems.
